Ultra modern architecture
The Carré Eden Shopping Center will bring an innovation spin the Reunion shopping center landscape. It is the first Shopping Center in Réunion to be designed in connection with and to suit the island. Facades and roofs will be covered almost entirely with plant species, most of them native to the island. The interior of the building will also pay homage to nature, tall trees will be highlighted in the center of the pedestrianized hall, and there will be a glass roof over 10 meters high. The impressive ceiling height will echo the unobstructed view of the sea from the terrace, on the horizon you can see the Cauldron ravine and the mountains. The building design favors exceptional commercial visibility on the Boulevard Sud and rue Schoelcher (access to the Nordev). What’s more, the building is Bioclimatic, so it will produce more electricity than it consumes of which is from renewable energy sources. It should be noted that this initiative will significantly reduce the costs associated with cooling the building, a financial advantage for all shops and business hotel owners.
A versatile shopping center
This is a futuristic and forward-looking shopping center dedicated to quality shopping brands and integrating many leisure activities, shops, a 40-room business hotel, and several panoramic restaurants. Carré Eden will rely on brands and activities rooted in the local business scene and will stand out as the first lifestyle & leisure Retail Plaza.
The layout of the Carré Eden will be on several levels to accommodate a wide choice of permanent stores and temporary occupancies. Its offer of activities carried out in the same areas will make the district lively both during the day and in the evening, which will contribute to improving the living environment and shopping comfort. Consumers will have at their disposal a wide variety of products and services, this commercial mix being a way of saving time and capacity in terms of consumption patterns, which leads to the creation of pleasant and multifunctional spaces.

The ground floor level is accessible through the main entrance of Carré Eden on rue Victor Schoelcher. This level consists of a central hall with trees, surrounded by store space dedicated mainly to household equipment.
These sales areas are accompanied by smaller areas to accommodate various shops and services, such as the sale of luxury clothing for men / women, the sale of items, clothes for babies, the sale of wedding items, banking services, the sale of household equipment, and an insurance broker.
Escalators and travelators will lead to the upper levels as well as the underground car parks.
Level 1 – Shops and Food Court
Level 1 will be divided into 3 independent commercial spaces which surround the large shared terrace.

This 1500m² level will house a Business Hotel with 40 rooms. Travelers will enjoy the proximity to the airport and all the amenities offered by Carré Eden.

At the entrance of Saint-Denis, in the immediate vicinity of the Roland Garros airport, the Carré Eden shopping center is located in the Chaudron Commercial Zone, the most attractive shopping area in Saint-Denis and Reunion.
Major retailers, home equipment, household appliances, events and numerous car dealerships make the Cauldron Commercial Zone the most dynamic area in the North West Basin.

Access to the site, rue Victor Schoelcher, It is ensured by the two main roads :
– in the North, the RN2 which connects with boulevard Lancastel, then the avenue du Chaudron and the rue du Karting.

It is possible to go to the site via this interurban network by alighting at stops “Stade de l’Est” (line E1) or “Météo” (lines E3 and E4), close to the site.
The CITALIS network is an interurban network.
The site has a stop directly in rue Schoelcher (lines 31, 15 and 26). The network also provides correspondence with the CAR Jaune stops, including the “Stade de l’Est” stop.
